PPP is a small business relief measure that incentivizes businesses to retain employees on payroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some quick facts about the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP Loan) &#8211; related legislation signed into law:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act<\/strong>: Established the PPP on March 27, 2020 ($349 billion)<\/li><li><strong>PPP and Health Care Enhancement Act<\/strong>: Gave the program a surge of additional funds ($310 billion) on April 24, 2020<\/li><li><strong>PPP Flexibility Act:<\/strong>&nbsp;Made important changes to the program, making PPP loan forgiveness easier on June 5, 2020<\/li><li><strong>Consolidated Appropriations Act&nbsp;(the Act):<\/strong>&nbsp;Established PPP 2.0 ($284 billion) and expanded the PPP on December 27, 2020; the portion relating to the PPP and other small business support is also called the \u201cEconomic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act\u201d<\/li><li><strong>American Rescue Plan:<\/strong>&nbsp;Provided $7.25 billion in additional funding to PPP 2.0. This plan&nbsp;<strong>did not<\/strong>&nbsp;extend the program deadline set under the Consolidated Appropriations Act.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That means you have deadline to apply until March 31, 2021 to apply for your first or second Paycheck Protection Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-where-can-employers-exactly-spend-ppp-funds\">Where can employers exactly spend PPP <a href=\"https:\/\/reivewcrest.com\/apply-here-for-online-loan\/\">funds<\/a>?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you take PPP Loan you need to spend it on qualifying expenses like employees&#8217; payrolls, If you want your loan to be forgiven. This is known as \u201cSecond Draw\u201d PPP <a href=\"https:\/\/reivewcrest.com\/apply-here-for-online-loan\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"rank-math-link\">loans<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for a second PPP loan, you must:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Employ 300 or fewer employees<\/li><li>Have used up your first PPP loan proceeds<\/li><li>Demonstrate that your gross receipts in any 2020 quarter are at least 25% less than the same 2019 quarter<\/li><li>Not engage in political or lobbying activities, describe yourself as a think tank, or be affiliated with businesses in China<\/li><li>Not receive a Shuttered Venue Operator Grant<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-who-can-t-apply-for-a-second-draw-loan\">Who can\u2019t apply for a second draw loan?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many persons and entities that aren\u2019t eligible for second draw PPP loans, but these are the most notable:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Any entity that\u2019s engaged in political or lobbying activities&nbsp;<\/li><li>Any person or entity that receives a grant for shuttered venue operators<\/li><li>Businesses that have permanently closed&nbsp;<\/li><li>Those who have previously received a second draw PPP loan<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-should-you-apply-for-a-second-ppp-loan\">How should you apply for a second PPP loan?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can apply for a second draw PPP loan using&nbsp;Form 2483-SD.
