Funds can also be used to pay interest on mortgages, rent, and<br>utilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fully-forgiven\">Fully Forgiven<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Funds are provided in the form of loans that will be fully forgiven when used for payroll costs,<br>interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities (due to likely high subscription, at least 75% of the<br>forgiven amount must have been used for payroll). Loan payments will also be deferred for six<br>months. No collateral or personal guarantees are required. Neither the government nor lenders<br>will charge small businesses any fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-must-keep-employees-on-the-payroll-or-rehire-quickly\">Must Keep Employees on the Payroll or Rehire Quickly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Forgiveness is based on the employer maintaining or quickly rehiring employees and<br>maintaining salary levels. Forgiveness will be reduced if full-time headcount declines, or if<br>salaries and wages decrease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-all-small-businesses-eligible\">All Small Businesses Eligible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Small businesses with 500 or fewer employees\u2014including nonprofits, veterans organizations,<br>tribal concerns, self-employed individuals, sole proprietorships, and independent contractors\u2014<br>are eligible. Businesses with more than 500 employees are eligible in certain industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-when-to-apply\">When to <a href=\"https:\/\/reivewcrest.com\/apply-here-for-online-loan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow sponsored\">Apply<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting April 3, 2020, small businesses and sole proprietorships can apply. Starting April 10,<br>2020, independent contractors and self-employed individuals can apply. We encourage you to<br>apply as quickly as you can because there is a funding cap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-apply\">How to Apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can apply through any existing SBA 7(a) lender or through any federally insured depository<br>institution, federally insured credit union, and Farm Credit System institution that is<br>participating. Other regulated lenders will be available to make these loans once they are<br>approved and enrolled in the program. You should consult with your local lender as to whether<br>it is participating. All loans will have the same terms regardless of lender or borrower. A list of<br>participating lenders as well as additional information and full terms can be found at<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sba.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored\">www.sba.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-who-qualifies-for-the-paycheck-protection-program\">Who qualifies for the paycheck protection program?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br>Small businesses with 500 or fewer employees<\/strong>\u2014including nonprofits, veterans organizations, tribal concerns, self-employed individuals, sole proprietorships, and independent contractors\u2014 are eligible. Businesses with more than 500 employees are eligible in certain industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-does-paycheck-protection-program-work\">How does paycheck protection program work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The purpose of the Paycheck Protection Program is&nbsp;<strong>to help you retain your employees, at their current base pay<\/strong>. If you keep all of your employees, the entirety of the loan will be forgiven. If you still lay off employees, the forgiveness will be reduced by the percent decrease in the number of employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-can-i-pay-my-employees-more-with-the-ppp-loan\">Can I pay my employees more with the PPP loan?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Can I use all the PPP funds to pay myself?&nbsp;<strong>No<\/strong>, and this applies to all small businesses. Keeping your employees laid off and increasing your own pay goes against the purpose of the program. Your forgivable amount would be reduced because your headcount was lower than before<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-use-the-following-tips-on-how-to-make-sure-your-ppp-loan-is-forgiven-to-get-started\"><strong><br>Use the following tips on how to make sure your PPP loan is forgiven to get started:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Use it for eligible expenses.<\/li><li>Keep your employee headcount up*<\/li><li>Don&#8217;t reduce an employee&#8217;s wages by more than 25%*<\/li><li>Document everything.<\/li><li>Talk with your lender.<\/li><li>Apply for loan forgiveness.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-do-employees-have-to-work-for-ppp-loan\">Do employees have to work for PPP loan?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first requirement to apply for a PPP loan is that&nbsp;<strong>your business must have been in operation on February 15, 2020 and had employees for whom you paid salaries and payroll taxes<\/strong>.
